The Vaporizers on the market are divided into 3 big groups, by different features; such as heating, portability and power. Our Fenix Vaporizer family belongs to which group?
The Majority of popular-selling vaporizers are using conduction type of heating, are portable and have integrated battery. Those kinds usually come in the affordable price range and are considered healthier than alternatives with combustion.
Combustion types are often cheaper and used among wax users. It combusts the herb, which outcome is similar to smoke.
Convection is 100% heated by air. The hot air travels through the herb, vaporize it completely and evenly, without burns. This used to be a popular thing among desktop vaporizers, but fortunately, the advanced technology allowed us to make our Fenix Vaporizer family. Them all are portable and more useful with longer-lasting batteries.
There are also a lot of Hybrids on the market – using convection and combustion technology in one.
This surely is a better solution that has a more beneficial effect on your health.
Let’s know more features about vaporizers in each group.
COMBUSTION
There is another group of so-called
vaporizers that use combustion type of heating. This means that herbs are
directly on the heating element, filament or coils in most cases. It gets
heated above 235°C or 455°F, burns the herb and provides smoke. Herb is heated
too quickly, so an average session lasts under 8 minutes. The outcome is
combustion, comparable to smoking…that is why evaporation isn’t a formation of
this event.
Combustion vaporizers are easier to make, because of that they are affordable
at really low prices. This is also a product of low-life-time. The battery
needs more energy to operate, the filament gets ruined after a few sessions and
starts to taste really bitter.
This surely isn’t any kind of good addition to health.
CONDUCTION
The conduction chamber is a heating element and heats the herb directly.
A Conduction heating system is most popular among vaporizers. You can take Weecke’s C Vapor series as an example.
Chamber in a form of cup heats the content and vaporize it on lower temperature levels that are required for releasing the good elements of the herb. Temperature goes from 160° up to 225°C. Those are perfect temperatures to get the most out of the herb. But the negative thing is that herbs get heated only by the surface of a chamber and it often requires to stir the content. This leaves the content vaporized unevenly. After the session, we can see the color of herbs and evaluate the power and efficiency of the chamber. In worst cases, this leaves with burns or just burn spots – that means that combustion was also provided. The chambers of conduction technology come designed from different materials. Usually, it’s ceramic, metal or quartz. Metal is a type of material that is known for occasional burns or provided combust when heating on highest temperatures.
But on the other hand, conduction way leaves with flavorful, pristine and pure vapor. Which really has a more beneficial effect on health than other alternatives.
Combustion vaporizers are often much smaller and lighter vaporizers. They also hold a priority because of quick heating.
Devices come from different price range, depending on other features, such as a type of battery and its lasting, temperature levels, portability, hardware quality and of course heating chamber material. There are a lot of other factors as well, like brands, smart software features and other.
CONVECTION
Convection is an AIR HEATING method for
more efficient vaping for botanicals without direct contact with heating
element.
In this case, the chamber isn’t a heating element. Comparing to a fan, the
heating element stays under the chamber – heats the air and travels through
hundreds of small holes into a chamber – effectively and evenly vaporize the
herb – and provides the purest and most flavorful vapor without a slight track
of combustion.
The hot air travels through the herb and ensures that herbs are vaporized
evenly and perfectly. Conduction offers the purest vaping session with 0%
combustion, smoke or burns. This gives users a big advantage on a health level.
The way, where a user experiences a maximum efficiency of used botanical. Most of the constituents of the herb begin to vaporize at 127°C and do not vaporizer until near their respective boiling points (between 157° up to 180°C. Upper levels can cause a falling of efficiency of botanicals.
Temperature, in this case, goes from 160°C to 220°C. Those are perfect temperatures to get the most out of your herb.
Convection / AIR HEATING technology is sure a big advantage when it comes to vapor flavor, quality, and purity.
The market also offers a hybrid device – between convection and conduction. This also helps on a way to obtain purer and tastier vapor.
Convection vaporizers are made with air heating technology. They come in various shapes and types, including higher price range.
Technology is usually used among desktop vaporizers. Auto-fan system allows indirect use with balloons. Because of the better efficiency of direct inhalation, they often come with an inhalation tube for that purpose. Desktops use a direct plug-in power adapter, which makes the vape reliable to a location.
Portables with convection heating are heavy in comparison with conduction vaporizers. With advanced technology, this problem is eliminated. Using a powerful battery allows on-to-go sessions anytime, anywhere. Although higher prices on the market, South Reed (Previously’s Weecke) fulfilled the users’ needs and wishes.
Convenient, efficient and powerful vaporizers from the Fenix Vaporizer collection are a breaking point in the vaping industry.
